Multi-Pet Sitting in Waldorf: One Home, Plenty of Personalities

One pet household, several personalities, and at least one animal convinced they should receive everybody’s dinner. Multi-pet sitting works best when each pet’s routine is clear before the first visit—not when we try to remember it all at the food cupboard.

Write a small profile for every pet

For each animal, list their name, species, identifying features, meal instructions, usual potty or litter routine, and preferred activities. Explain which food and bowl belong to whom. Photos can help distinguish similar-looking pets, particularly when one disappears into their favorite hiding place during introductions.

Include the everyday details that are easy to overlook because you know them so well. Does someone finish quickly and investigate the next bowl? Does another pet need a quieter feeding space? Which doors or gates should stay closed? Clear instructions help me follow the household routine instead of asking the pets for directions. Their answers may be suspiciously snack-focused.

Show how the household moves through a visit

Walk me through the order that works at home. Meals, outside breaks, litter care, and play may need separate spaces or different timing. Tell me which pets can be together and which should be kept apart, including around food or toys. I need the honest version of the routine, with all its little quirks.

If dogs need separate walks, mention that when you inquire. Different energy levels, leash behavior, or comfort around other dogs can change what is practical during one visit. We will discuss the tasks and time needed before confirming a plan, rather than assuming every pet can share the same outing.

For each pet, describe what normal looks like and what you would want reported. You might care about whether a particular cat appeared, which dog ate, or how an older pet managed their usual potty break. A photo update is lovely; a useful note should help answer your actual questions.

Choose visit time around the work involved

Our drop-in pet sitting visits start at $30 for 30 minutes or $60 for 60 minutes. Share the number of pets, any separate routines, and the tasks you need so we can confirm the appropriate visit length and pricing. Those starting prices are not a promise that every multi-pet household fits the same plan.
